My name is Andrea DiDonato, or as my students like to call me, "Miss A". I am very pleased that you have interest in my program!
My center is located in the heart of Beverly Cove. We are on a quiet, tree lined street that lends a peaceful, calm and serene environment to the learning and development of the children in my care. We are one block from Cove Playground and two blocks from Lynch Park!
Our Philosophy
At Cove Childcare/Preschool, it is my privilege to accompany children as they start their journey of growth and exploration. I take pride in my center and promote a “love of learning" atmosphere. I am a get-on-the-floor, hands-on teacher. My philosophy is based on a nurturing curriculum. The curriculum I use is based on the Massachusetts Department of Education’s Curriculum Frameworks.
It is my goal to prepare each child for a successful transition to kindergarten. This is achieved by focusing on the four areas of development within the preschool. These areas include Social/Emotional, Physical, Cognitive and Language development.
Most importantly, each child will have an age-appropriate, individualized lesson plan. I understand that every child learns differently. I provide many opportunities for them to be challenged and feel pride in all accomplishments here at Cove Childcare/Preschool. This, coupled with laughter and fun, is what I believe help a child to love to learn as they grow.
A policeman visited with the students to talk about what an emergency is and what to do during one, like call 911.
